Through the Social Determinants of Health lens, Center for Wellness & Clinical Development provides training to encourage the development of culturally competent clinicians. Center for Wellness & Clinical Development also increases access to therapeutic care from diverse providers.
Dr. Brittany Peters has over 15 years of experience in community mental health as a clinician, advocate, consultant, and clinical director. Currently Dr. Brittany is the vice-president of Behavioral health for a child welfare & behavioral health organization, owns and operates a private practice, and teaches collegiate courses for two major universities. Dr. Brittany received her BSW and MSW for Florida State University and her Doctor of Social work degree from the University of Tenness-Knoxville.
